oh no. i did 28 points for NAPFA. sniff. on par with the worst i've ever done. all cos of ze 2.4! 11.41=C. but ah, i'm quite proud of myself for not giving up at all. in fact i'd say that 11.41 is like pretty good for this guy who hasn't run a distance above 800m at a go for over a year (since last napfa). yeah btw 800m= warm up for trainings.
but mm! my springs r still intact, managed a 273 jump. and 8.8 for shuttle, abit slower now but not bad considering we went to do it on the track and i have this phobia of doing shuttle run on the track. the last time i did it on the track my shoes tore into half. the time before that incident, i went to burn my fingers till they bled, cos i use my fingers to break too.
ok enough napfa.
today we had this 3-hr gp marathon. first, i have to admit that i was looking forward to it. second, i have to admit that i enjoyed it. we did philo & sci.
and i've realised this many times before but only now do i feel that i should have done something about it a long time ago- that is, i like the arts alot more. and in particular, philo. unfortunately, as the passage we discussed in class mentions, philo and the arts are greatly marginalised today. and so, i never really had access/a calculated choice as to whether i'd want to pursue sciency or artsy stuff. anyway i don't think i would have scored in arts. and isn't it all about the grades?
anyway i don't exactly regret the choice i've made. i think that sci and philo actually go damn well hand-in-hand. despite all their differences and conflicts, they seem to fit well together. it's all about when to apply what. (edit!)
and i was thinking. people used to believe that everything was made of the four elements: earth, fire, air and water. hahah come to think of it, isnt it true? ok sorry it's 12:23AM.
sleep.
i must spend the 6-day break i have wisely.
