The Most Irritating Math Topic
ok first. for those who didn't watch, Japan is Miss Universe 2007. hahahahaha. not bad. i woke up today, went downstairs with my poisson, saw that Ms Universe was on after flipping through the newspapers, brought my maths to the tv, watched Ms Universe, and didn't do my maths.
ha. Japan. not many would have expected this... outcome. i admit that once they announced "Japan!" some conspiracy theory sprung up in my head, and...i shall not discuss it here.
anyway. The Most Irritating Math Topic (so far) award goes to...Poisson Distribution!!!!!!!!!!! or rather, the tutorial.
The series of unfortunate events that have caused me to detest this topic, in chronological order:
last night..
"argh! i swear i put it (the tutorial) THERE! where's it now! ARGH"
one hour later: "no wait a min, maybe it was there..."
one hour later: "argh! i swear i put it THERE! where's it now! ARGH"
"ok. i will not go to sleep until i find it."
i think i went up down up (stairs) like 4 times.
finally, it showed 01:00am (today) on the clock.
"wa crap la. i seriously won't be able to sleep. how can i lose my poisson. not possible. searched the entire house. turned it upside down, inside out. i can't be that pok."
"hmm..."
"maybe it's under my bed."
*looks*

they say that it's always in the last place you look. and duh! cos after that, you've found it! so let me refine the statement.
it was in the last blardy place that i could POSSIBLY look.
wa sorry. but it seriously got me damn irritated. i know how funny it seems to a third party..but maths tutorials and i, we have quite a history. too bad it had to be poisson. poor poisson. poor, poor victim of correlation.
then came today. no matter how hard i tried, i kept getting stumped by the questions. for someeeee reason (i hate to admit my ytidiputs). so i'd give up for 5 minutes. and every single time i got back in, i solved it easily. and obviously this got me irritated too.
once again, poisson was 'innocent'; it was my short fuse that's to blame. too bad. i blame it on poisson.
and we can all now see why poisson distribution is The Most Irritating Math Topic EVER.
